Standing tall in the center of the plaza, this device provides passing people with lighting, power, music and shaded seating. On mounted panels are exhibited changing content, billboards, drawing surfaces and an enquiries box for local residents. Placed among those are shelves for closed object exhibition, and a 'give and take' book library.

The street furniture around the center make for a large variety of uses, individual or groups. On special events, the plaza enjoys the lighting, electricity outlet and sound features of the central object which came to be fondly refered by the locals as – the "tree".

The "tree" revolutionized the plaza, providing comfort, design and user-experience for the community and by passers. With many of its innovative features, some never before seen and approved in Israel or elsewhere in the world, it is truly a big step for the development of smart-city urban corners befitting the 21st century.

The "tree" and the surrounding furniture were all manufactured in our production shop At TINTO, in Givaat Yearim, from high quality and durable materials, and a lot of love and devotion.

מוקד זה הוא אובייקט הניצב במרכז הרחבה הנותן לעוברים ושבים תאורה, חשמל, מוזיקה ומקומות ישיבה בצל. על גבי הפנלים המרכיבים אותו תוכן מתחלף: עיתון קיר, לוח מודעות, לוחות ציור ותיבת תקשורת עם גופים קהילתיים בשכונה. בין הפנלים פזורים מדפים בעומקים שונים המשמשים כחללי תצוגה סגורים וספריית "קח-תן".

במסגרת רענון הרחבה, התווספו פינות ישיבה למגוון שימושים, לקבוצות גדולות וקטנות. באירועים מיוחדים הופכת הרחבה ליריד ופינות הישיבה למעין תוחם המופנה לבמה מרכזית. באירועים אלו, הגברה, מוזיקה ותאורה מוזנים ע"י האובייקט המרכזי, הנקרא בפי התושבים "העץ".

ה"עץ" חולל מהפיכה ברחבה ובשכונה, בכך שהוא מספק נוחות, עיצוב וחווית משתמש לקהילה והמבקרים באזור. עם שלל החידושים שלו, חלקם טרם נראו ואושרו בישראל ואף בעולם, פרויקט זה הינו צעד גדול לעבר פיתוח פינות אורבניות ב'עיר החכמה' כיאה למאה ה-21.

ה"עץ" יוצר בסדנה שלנו בגבעת יערים מהחומרים האיכותיים והעמידים ביותר, בהרבה השקעה ואהבה.
